Thousand Monkeys is the ongoing internet tale of script writers living in Mile End, London. Jobless and hungry for the idea that will make their fortune, they spend their time pitching each other films and future projects. Their Ideas range from the bad to the downright absurd, all under the pretense that they, much like a thousand monkeys with a thousand typewriters over a thousand years, will eventually write Shakespeare.

"It was the best of times, it was the "blurst" of times'? You stupid monkey!"

-Mr Burns

Episodes are scripted then rewritten by the cast and crew in a 'Beat the Joke' devising process. For fast turnover episodes are done in a handful of single takes, shot cross-coverage. This has been our attempt at not only sharpening our comedy writing skills, but to develop a new kind of show that can grow and develop as time goes on - experimenting with new characters and new ideas. It also gives us an excuse to vent a bit about the current state of things, the characters acting as our meat-puppet avatars.
